EXCO MEMBERS

Anna Tan – “Our PSG EXCO has the "S" factor. "S" for SUPERMAN and SUPERWOMAN and SUPERGEL. During the 1 year that I was with you all in 2003 I was awed by the cohesiveness, diversity of knowledge input, spontaneity and selflessness demonstrated. Most importantly, I had fun and count many of you as my dear and close friends. So SUPERFRIENDS give yourselves a pat on the back and keep up the SUPERGOOD WORK!”

Ay Giok - “I do really enjoy the partnership with the school and you all. All of you are great and wonderful parents.”

Esther Hoon - “You all together with SNGS educators always make me feel like a part of a big family. I really enjoyed your company and working together.”

Heem Juay - “You are an incredible team! To think that we started off not knowing each other and the first EXCO was put together because Miss Choo and Mrs Cheong knew us separately and called us together. God must have directed them to call each of us, otherwise how can one explain the way we have bonded after such a short time. And for those who joined later, you have blended in so well. I am truly glad to be a member of this group and am so thankful for all of you.”

Esther Loo - “… Yes, we have indeed come a long way, and I'm really THANKFUL for the blessed friendship and camaraderie. Thanks Joyce for the countless gatherings at your place, your yummy servings and wonderful hospitality. As our Chairman, you have garnered the support of the Team and many other parents @ SNGS inspired us and set the pace and standard of our PSG. CHEERS to your commitment and leadership! We shall continue to do our best with Heem Juay and the Team! And serving SNGS with pride and joy... : )”

Joyce Ong - Hi my very dear friends: Last evening spoke for itself. This is what blessed friendship is all about. I'm sure we're all aware that it can only happen through GOD's very special blessings kneading us together into one perfect wholesome yet delicious cake. We have come a long long way the past 3 years and now we're ripe for the picking to spread the good news - that St. Nicholas, is the place. Thank you, thank you for such precious friendship, love and respect for each other.”

Michelle Voo - “Thank you, Joyce, and letting us share your esprit de corps even though we have known you all for such a short time and are mere Primary parents, and thank you, Esther, for the treat! And it was great at my end of the table! I am very content to be a tiny raisin in the wholesome cake you have kneaded! Hope my daughter makes it back to Secondary so I can be part of the magic!”

Anna Wong - “…. It was a real pleasure meeting you and the other volunteer parents yesterday. It was truly an experience for me since it was my first time but I enjoyed every minute of it…. You know Joyce, regardless of their reasons, all the parents were oozing with enthusiasm and passion, something which I deeply admire, given the pressures and constraints that we all face. Therefore I am now sincerely looking forward to not just doing my bit, but more.”

HEAD PREFECT 2005: ISABELLA OW

“Hello Aunty Joyce! On behalf of the Convention Organizing Committee, I would like to extend a handshake of appreciation towards the PSG. Thank you for taking time to view our presentation and giving us pointers on how we could improve our convention. It was also nice to see the genuine enthusiasm and support the parents had graciously given. We are taking your suggestions into consideration but we thought that it was still necessary to thank you for them. Keep this between the two of us, but I do think that such supportive parents are not a common sight in any other school. :) We want the parents to know that we wish to tap on their experiences in handling such activities.”

PRINCIPAL
MS. HELEN CHOO – Principal till Dec 2006
“Dear friends, You folks have been a great help to me personally and to the staff and students in so many wonderful ways that just thanks is not enough. Not even a zillion thanks will be enough. God bless you all and cheers”

MS. HELEN CHOO – Principal till Dec 2006
“DEAR ESTHER, A million thanks and blessings to you for your leadership in this very
important day annual retreat/outing/learning journey for the EAS. As you know, SNG is one of the very few schools that customises a special staff development retreat for its EAS [Executive and Administrative Staff] ie the office staff and the school attendants. We alternate between a retreat held locally [as on 10 Aug] with one that is held overseas [Johore, Malacca, Bintan]. This is our way of upgrading the general knowledge of our colleagues. By customising the retreat, we are also showing how much we care for them. Each year, a small team of EAS takes charge of the organisation. This year, we are blessed to have a team of parents headed by Esther, take over the responsibility of organising the EAS retreat. This gives ALL our EAS a chance to sit back and enjoy the programme. And enjoy they certainly did.

Thanks Esther and your team who showered our EAS with so much love yesterday. EAS thoroughly enjoyed themselves the leisurely pace of the programme, the learning journeys they made, the walks the DUCK TOUR and even longkang fishing at Qian Hu. Thanks for the superb food at the two restaurants. Thanks for the magnificent hamper of goodies. Thank you and bless you and your family for your goodness of your hearts your stout energy - wrapping presents till past midnight your enthusiastic presence your comforting prayers cheers to all SNG
