The family spirit in Parents@StNicks is very strong. The more experienced members provide excellent support, encouragement and assistance to new volunteers. New members will feel most welcome and completely at home.

Why I Joined
Tan Heem Juay (Chairperson, EXCO since 2006) – ”I was invited by Miss Choo to be the Vice-President of the PSG EXCO when it was formed in 2003. It's been four wonderful years since then, and parents whom I'd never met before have become firm friends after we got to know each other through the EXCO. Being in EXCO has helped me connect so much better with the principal, vice-principals, teachers, fellow parents and my daughters.”  

KC Chua (EXCO member since 2004) – ”My purpose of joining Parents@St Nicks was 3-fold. Firstly, I enjoy volunteering as I can meet many teachers and parents. Secondly, I can help the school in community activities and make some difference. Thirdly, I want to better relate to my daughter's education.”

Lee Hiah (Secretary, EXCO) - ”I joined Parents@St Nicks in 2004 when my elder daughter was in Secondary 1. Being a member of Parents@St Nicks allows me to better understand the school's philosophy, hence I'm in a better position to support my daughter and the school.”

Foo Yoke Fun (EXCO Member since 2004) – ”I didn't have to think twice about joining the PSG when my daughter came to St Nics in 2004.  It is natural to want the best for one's child, and to help her develop and achieve her maximum potential, academically or otherwise.
